About me
I was born in 1996 in Kingston, Jamaica, where I am currently based.
My discovery of (and eventual love for) still photography can best be described as a happy accident.
At 19, I began experimenting with a small, mirrorless camera my mother owned at the time, not knowing that it would eventually lead me to pursue photography professionally. In 2016, I received a certificate in the Rudiments of Still Photography from the Media Technology Institute. I later studied at the Caribbean School of Media and Communication (CARIMAC), where I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Digital Media Production in 2019.
Wanting to develop skills that would complement my predominantly visual background, I ventured into copywriting in 2022 and later public relations in 2024. My ability to ask the right questions, extract technical facts, and shape them into compelling narratives has consistently resonated with clients and audiences alike. For me, using my expertise to provide effective communication solutions is the hallmark of a job well done.
I have completed photography work for LiveStush (the marketing arm of lifestyle brand STUSH), Euromoney Conferences, Phase 3 Productions, Hampden Estate, as well as online and print-based publication TeenVybe Magazine. I have also shot and written for organisations including the National Commercial Bank (NCB), the Jamaica Public Service Company (JPS Co.), and the ATL Automotive Group, among others.
I previously lectured at the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts.
I am grateful to be doing what I love, with the stunning backdrop of Jamaica as my canvas. I hope you have enjoyed my portfolio.
